Tal y como escribía en días pasados el Dr. Díaz, teníamos algo abandonados los días internacionales. Como hemos mencionado, la actualidad informativa o científica, dirige en muchas ocasiones la elección del tema del post.

Hoy si mencionaremos un tema en relación a una fecha señalada. Se trata del Día Mundial de la Salud Mental. Por una parte,no podemos ocultar que dentro de las distintas ramas de la medicina legal, es la psiquiatría forense una de las que más interés nos despierta. Por otra, el hecho de hacer una mención a estos días señalados en el calendario, contribuimos a difundir el mensaje que se pretende con su instauración.ñ

Dentro de esta gran diversidad, muchas de ellas no llevan aparejado un componente comportamental percibible por el grueso de la población, sino más bien una vertiente de sufrimiento personal que unido al arrinconamiento social que conlleva el estigma anteriormente mencionado, potencian el deterioro como persona del enfermo y justifica socialmente el linchamiento moral al que se somete al enfermo mental, introduciéndolo en un circulo vicioso que lo termina convirtiendo en un paria.
