Veinticuatro horas después de la confirmación por parte de las autoridades británicas, no podíamos dejar de comentar la enorme chapuza cometida por los responsables de gestionar las circunstancias sufridas tras el último atentado terrorista en Londres. Responsables de ese país que hace casi un año decidió la salida de la Unión Europea alegando la asimetría que percibían sus ciudadanos respecto a la relación con la vieja Europa. Es posible que a la vista de los hechos, estos ciudadanos británicos lleven razón respecto al enorme escalón entre el continente y su país, pero en el peor de los sentidos que pudieran imaginar.

Lo esperpéntico del caso, es que los responsables policiales, políticos y gubernamentales alegan la “enorme” dificultad que entrañaba la identificación de los fallecidos.

Les recordaremos a los miembros de este cuerpo policial, tan injustamente afamado a tenor de sus últimas actuaciones, que en esa España que han menospreciado a la hora de informar sobre este ciudadano español fallecido y a la hora de aceptar unas huellas dactilares que desde el Ministerio del Interior se les facilitaba dado que todo ciudadano español tiene una reseña dactilar que precisamente en estos casos facilita enórmemente las labores de identificación; se elaboró en 2009 un Protocolo nacional de actuación Médico-forense y de Policía Científica en sucesos con víctimas múltiples, gracias al cual cualquiera de los cuerpos policiales españoles hubiese identificado ese cadáver en concreto en cuestión de minutos. Ya que es seguro que los servicios de inteligencia británicos leerán este artículo en base a las repetidas menciones a Scotland Yard del presente artículo, les rogamos que les recuerden a sus compañeros encargados de la seguridad ciudadana, que el anteriormente mencionado protocolo está basado en los protocolos elaborados al efecto por Interpol, asociación a la que también pertenece Reino Unido de Gran Bretaña. Como podrán observar en artículos previos como El Simulacro, Vuelo 4U9525 o EgyptAir MS804, cuatro días se necesitarían para identificar cientos de víctimas, no ocho como es el caso que nos ocupa.

Si finalmente toda la tardanza en la transmisión de información a las familias de los fallecidos, obedeciese a algún tipo de estrategia electoral para castigar a la Señora May, supondría un acto tan deleznable que haría que fuesen problemas menores las dos posibilidades planteadas previamente.

A título personal, resulta indignante ver como se trata a la familia de una persona, la única que haya constado en todas las noticias ofrecidas tras atentados de esta índole, que arriesga su vida hasta perderla por ayudar a otra que está siendo agredida. Diría a los responsables británicos de la gestión de la crisis abierta, que deberían tener grandeza de miras y ensalzar la memoria de aquella persona que ha demostrado la actitud generosa y valiente, que no consta que haya tenido ningún británico en suelo británico, para acabar con el terror que pretenden instaurar los terroristas del Daesh.
Autoridades británicas, háganselo mirar, por favor.
